Job summary

Armanino Advisory LLC is seeking a Benefits Specialist to manage benefits data in Workday, oversee life events, COBRA tasks, and benefit inquiries for employees across multiple regions. You will audit waivers and enrollment data, support new hires, and drive leave-of-absence processes with internal partners.

You will present benefit information during orientation, assist with open enrollment, and collaborate on wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with benefits data and enrollment processes.
• Knowledge of leave-of-absence lifecycle.
• Ability to advise new hires on benefits during onboarding.
• Familiarity with COBRA tasks and life events.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and audit benefit data in Workday to ensure accurate enrollment information.
• Monitor, review, and approve benefit life events and COBRA tasks, ensuring timely processing.
• Audit waivers, evidence of insurability, HSA data, enrollments, and claims to identify discrepancies.
• Provide benefit information and guidance to new hires and employees undergoing job changes across multiple countries.
• Respond to employee questions regarding benefit programs, enrollment, eligibility, claims, and plan administration.
• Own the full lifecycle of the leave-of-absence process, including guidance, intake, documentation, tracking, and coordination.
• Represent benefits during new employee orientation by presenting program details and eligibility.
• Assist with annual open enrollment and wellness initiatives, including communications and data review.
• Support benefits, leave, and wellness projects and audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and audit benefit data in Workday to ensure accurate employee and dependent enrollment information.
• Monitor, review, and approve benefit life events and COBRA tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Audit employee benefit waivers, evidence of insurability records, health savings account data, benefit enrollments, and claims information to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide benefit information and guidance to new hires and employees experiencing job changes across multiple countries.
• Respond to employee questions regarding benefit programs, enrollment, eligibility, claims, and general plan administration.
• Own the full lifecycle of the leave-of-absence process, including employee guidance, intake, documentation, tracking, coordination with internal partners and vendors, and ensuring leave information is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Serve as a key Benefits representative during new employee orientation by presenting benefit program information, facilitating benefit webinars, and communicating enrollment requirements, eligibility, and key plan details clearly and accurately.
• Assist with the annual open enrollment process and wellness initiatives, including communications, employee support, data review, and follow-up activities.
• Support benefit, leave, and wellness enhancement projects, process improvements, audits, and other team initiatives as needed.

Location & Compensation

For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $79,600 - $93,700.

For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $83,300 - $100,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.

For positions based in San Francisco, consistent with the SF Fair Chance Ordinance, an arrest and conviction record will not automatically disqualify a qualified applicant from consideration.

For Individuals who would be working within the City of Los Angeles, Armanino will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
