Job summary

The Briggs Agencies is seeking motivated, growth-minded individuals to join our team as benefits sales representatives. You’ll work with individuals, families, and businesses to understand needs and offer insurance and benefits solutions designed to protect their financial future.

This role blends independent work with direct client interaction and local team collaboration. We provide training, licensing support, and uncapped earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with strong goal orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and coachable.
• Able to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Licensing to sell insurance products will be required.
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Client consultations - Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs and goals.
• Sales presentations - Present and explain available insurance and benefits solutions.
• Relationship management - Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospective customers.
• Business development - Identify new opportunities and build a sustainable client base.
• Follow-up - Maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process.
• Product knowledge - Learn and stay current on available products, services, and industry requirements.
• Goal management - Work toward individual activity, sales, and performance goals.
• Licensing - Obtain and maintain the state licensing required to sell applicable insurance products.
