Job summary

The Phoenix Group Advisors is seeking an experienced Director of Benefits, Retirement & Risk Management to lead the firm’s benefits, retirement plans, leave and disability programs, and property and casualty insurance.

The role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on operations, acting as the SME and primary resource for benefits, retirement, compliance, and vendor management. Collaboration spans leadership, attorneys, HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, brokers, actuaries, and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of progressive employee benefits experience.
• Extensive knowledge of health/welfare and retirement programs and fiduciary governance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee benefits, retirement, leave, and insurance programs for the firm.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and data governance with stakeholders.
• Prepare governance reporting, analyses, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and related laws.
