Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer health, life, disability, leaves and other benefits under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, benefits and compliance.
• ERP systems knowledge (PeopleSoft) and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal HR, Finance and Legal teams and external vendors.
• Manage benefit transactions and resolve escalated issues.
• Answer employee questions about plans and policies; provide cost analyses of options.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and benefits communications.
• Assist with monthly reconciliations and timely vendor invoicing.
