Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Benefits Manager to oversee the daily administration and operation of employee benefit programs. You will liaise with brokers, vendors, and employees, ensuring plans are competitive, compliant, and efficiently run.

The role includes managing benefits operations, annual open enrollment, and leave administration, while supervising a small Benefits Team and maintaining HRIS systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive benefits administration experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily benefits administration (health, dental, vision, life, disability, FMLA, paid leave, FSA, commuter benefits, retirement).
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and communication strategies, training, system configuration.
• Support leave administration (FMLA, disability, parental leave) and partner with carriers on complex claims.
• Maintain HRIS data, audit billing statements, and ensure SLA compliance.
