Job Description

Our client, a mission-driven, teaching hospital serving one of New York City’s most ethnically diverse communities, is seeking a Benefits Manager with a strong background in benefits management, labor relations, and data-driven decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a hospital that plays a vital role in advancing community health and equity. The Benefits Manager would oversee the administration, strategy, compliance, and communication of employee benefit programs within a healthcare system. Their role ensures that the benefits offered are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals, while also supporting employee well-being and satisfaction.

  • FMLA
  • Monitor plan utilization, costs, and ROI
  • Analyze trends and prepare reports for HR and executive leadership
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA)
  • Manage required reporting (e.g., 1095-C, Form 5500)
  • Maintain plan documents, SPDs, and compliance audits
