Job summary

South Texas College in Texas seeks a Benefits and Leave Analyst to administer FMLA and ADA accommodations. You will work with the Senior Benefits Manager to ensure leave cases are handled accurately and in compliance with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities include managing complex leave of absence cases, supporting the ADA interactive process, processing requests, coordinating payroll documentation, and assisting with annual enrollment and benefits events across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of FMLA/ADA experience required.
• Working knowledge of benefit programs in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex FMLA/ADA leave cases and related benefits.
• Support the ADA interactive process and document accommodations.
• Ensure compliance with ADA and FMLA regulations and policies.
• Review and process leave requests; determine eligibility for various leave types.
• Prepare payroll maintenance and supporting docs for extended absences.
• Coordinate and participate in annual enrollment and benefits events.
• Assist with policy maintenance related to benefits and absences.
