Job summary

Bemis Manufacturing Company is seeking a Benefits Manager in Sheboygan Falls, WI to design, implement, oversee, and administer all wellness, health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field is required or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in benefits administration and program cost improvements
• CEBS certification is highly preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented capabilities
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and advanced data analytics/spreadsheet tools
• Deep knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance processes, and confidentiality practices

Responsibilities

• Manage wellness, health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
• Research and evaluate benefit plan offerings and regulatory changes
• Negotiate and coordinate contracts with brokers, TPAs, and service providers
• Recommend plan improvements and cost-sharing approaches aligned with goals
• Participate in wellness program initiatives and total rewards projects
• Resolve complex claims issues and advise employees on eligibility and policies
• Lead annual open enrollment cycles and update system configurations
• Reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accuracy across vendors and systems
• Maintain adherence to ACA, ERISA, COBRA and related reporting requirements
