Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Director of Benefits to lead strategy, design, and compliance for benefits across multiple sites, including an onsite clinic in Warroad, MN. The role includes managing costs, vendor relations, and annual enrollment while supporting relocation with a comprehensive package.

You will oversee health, retirement, and wellbeing programs, ensuring ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and retirement plan compliance, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and operations to optimize value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits, healthcare strategy, or total rewards.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing benefits teams and programs in a large, complex organization.
• Experience with self-funded and fully insured health plans.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare, retirement, welfare, leave, and wellbeing programs.
• Experience managing external vendors, consultants, carriers, and healthcare partners.
• Strong financial, analytical, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy across locations.
• Oversee administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, leave, and voluntary programs.
• Lead annual enrollment strategy, communication, and implementation.
• Manage vendor, broker, consultant, carrier, and TPA relationships incl. renewals and RFPs.
• Provide oversight of onsite health clinic in Warroad, MN.
• Monitor costs, claims trends, utilization, and population health metrics.
