  • Assist with processing and organizing benefits invoices for payment.
  • Enter and maintain leave of absence information within the HRIS.

  • Assist with California Paid Family Leave and EDD documentation as needed.
  • Review employee benefit information related to new hires and qualifying life events.
  • Reconcile benefit and payroll information and investigate inconsistencies.
  • Maintain accurate records while handling confidential employee information.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Benefits team and assist with special projects.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of dedicated benefits administration experience, preferably within a larger organization.
  • Hands-on experience supporting employee benefits and/or leave administration.
  • Experience working with benefits across multiple states is preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and SUM functions.
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data and identifying discrepancies.
  • Experience using an HRIS and/or payroll system; Workday or ADP experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and PDF/document management tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to follow established processes and work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous FMLA/LOA experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with California leave programs, including Paid Family Leave and EDD, is a plus.
  • Experience working with an external leave vendor is beneficial.
  • Benefits reconciliation experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP, are a plus.
  • Candidates should have substantial hands‑on benefits experience rather than limited benefits exposure as part of a broad HR Generalist position.
  • This position requires working onsite five days per week.
  • Target start date is September 22, 2026.
  • Contract is expected to run through January 31, 2027.
  • Opportunity to gain experience supporting benefits within a large, complex organization.
  • Exposure to multi-state benefits and leave administration.
  • Opportunity to work with established HR, benefits, payroll, and HRIS processes.
  • Potential to expand Excel, HRIS, and benefits reconciliation skills.
  • Collaborative team environment.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility.
