Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Benefits Concierge Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Kansas City, MO. This is an in-person, full-time role focused on high-touch benefits guidance across medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.

You will work closely with carriers and vendors, manage enrollment data, and support open enrollment campaigns while ensuring regulatory compliance and clear communication across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, benefits administration, HR, or related field (HR, insurance/brokerage, or healthcare backgrounds welcome).
• Strong knowledge of group health and welfare plans and applicable regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125).
• Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office; able to translate complex benefits concepts into plain language.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits questions with 1:1 concierge guidance.
• Help employees navigate claims issues, provider searches, prior authorizations, appeals, and benefits coordination.
• Own benefits communications including onboarding, open enrollment campaigns, life event guidance, and ongoing education.
