Job summary

Insperity in Phoenix is seeking an HCM Benefits Specialist I responsible for producing, maintaining and disseminating benefits communications and training. This role guides IT regarding the HCM system and vendor integrations, and collaborates with TES leadership to ensure timely client enrollment, ACA reporting and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in benefits administration preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English; strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Ability to create communications collateral using Word, PowerPoint, and interactive PDFs in Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to understand multiple business functions and communicate complex employee benefits concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supports client onboarding to vendors including audit of benefit plan setups, policy guidelines, client training and facilitation of integrations from HCM system.
• Develops processes and procedures to support TES clients.
• Provides benefits administration support for clients and internal Insperity service teams.
• Provides timely operational communications and training for internal teams and clients, including maintenance and dissemination of health and welfare benefits content.
• Maintains expertise of TES product offerings and stays abreast of plan changes.
• Takes on Subject Matter Expert role for the benefits administration services provided through vendors and Insperity and communicates feature enhancements to stakeholders.
• Works with TES to ensure timely communication of training materials related to new benefits offerings and changes.
• Monitors enrollment, orientations and knowledge management to assess training needs for staff and clients.
• Ensures client and quality requirements are satisfied for benefits administration and internal product adherence to payroll offerings.
• Develops an in-depth understanding of the client’s business problems within benefits administration and payroll system integrations.
• Provides feedback to marketing, operations, and TES leadership regarding market and product requirements.
