Job summary

The Baldwin Group is seeking a Client Manager, Employee Benefits to service client benefit needs and prepare detailed presentations for renewals, claims, and market options. You will coordinate onboarding, renewals, plan documentation, and enrollment activities while maintaining strong client relationships and proactive communication.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 2+ years in employee benefits, excellent MS Office skills, and a focus on accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Current state license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ability to learn other software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage client service calendar including onboarding, renewals, compliance alerts, 5500 filings, plan documentation, and Open Enrollment preparation and execution.
• Prepare and present executive summaries for clients, including claim experience, benchmarking, rate renewals, and renewal recommendations.
• Manage all policy activity aspects of assigned accounts.
• Present risks to the insurance marketplace for quoting as needed.
• Communicate clear expectations to the client regularly, professionally, and proactively.
• Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and completion when interacting with clients, the firm, and partners.
• Manage client inquiries and coordinate with insurance partners to resolve issues.
• Conduct enrollment meetings with prepared collateral.
• Review existing programs to determine if additional lines should be added and solicit proposals.
