Position Summary:


Come join B. Braun's U.S. corporate Benefits team! This Benefits Specialist will play a key role in leading the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, with a focus on U.S. benefits, supporting our employees and vendor management. The role reports into our Bethlehem, PA office, offering a hybrid work environment with in-office work 3 days/week. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing employee benefit programs and support leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while optimizing cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.


Responsibilities: Essential Duties



  • Serve as the primary day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including for health & benefits, leave of absence, and wellbeing programs.

  • Manages the Benefits Inbox and Benefits line and responds to all questions from employees.

  • Ensure benefits programs comply with applicable plan document and regulations, performing analytics on usage, cost and effectiveness of benefits, as well as identifying improvement opportunities associated with the administration and design of the Program.

  • Overall management of the benefit enrollment system: manages the vendor, ensures data integrity, troubleshoots issues, and produces monthly reports.

  • Responsible for ACA tracking and reporting; researches data discrepancies; manages vendor; ensure program compliance.

  • Reviews and approves all dependent verification for benefit plans.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations, includingCOBRA, FMLA, ERISA, and HIPAA.

  • Manage plan vendors with ongoing meetings, communication, process improvements, SLAs.

  • Oversees spending account plans (FSA, LPFSA, DCFSA and HSA).

  • Creates and designs all benefit related communications; maintains the benefit website and ensure content is updated monthly. - Reviews, prepares and processes all benefit related invoices; tracks monthly payments.

  • Oversees additional benefit plans including EAP, Best Doctors, Teladoc and Tobacco Cessation, Auto and Home, critical illness, Hospital Indemnity and Legal.

  • Support the US LOA Program, ensuring compliance with state leave and federal laws affecting group benefit management administration.

  • Assist with open enrollment activities to include employee communications and materials, virtual and in-person employee sessions, and implementation/testing of new plans in the enrollment system for accuracy.

  • Ad hoc benefit or other HR related projects

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc


Required:



  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 04-06 years related experience required.

  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT etc.), and HRIS skills

  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.

  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Occasional business travel required
