Job summary

Main Street Insurance Group is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support growth and client service in the Southeast. You will analyze client needs, support renewals, and prepare client-facing materials in collaboration with Account Managers, Producers, and vendors.

The role requires a Life & Health license (or ability to obtain within 90 days), strong benefits knowledge, and proficiency with Applied Epic and Employee Navigator. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance, HR, or account management.
• Current Life & Health license in the state of business or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Familiarity with employee benefits, renewal workflows, and carrier processes.
• Ability to review plan designs, census data, enrollment forms, and related documents.
• Proficient with Applied Epic, Employee Navigator, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support agency growth and client retention through service work with the Account Manager.
• Identify coverage gaps and opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling.
• Analyze client needs and documents to recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Prepare proofs, summaries, schedules, proposals, and client communications.
• Process mail, emails, faxes, calls, and service requests promptly with updates.
• Maintain client files in the Agency Management System per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
