Saia Inc. is seeking a Benefits Administrator to support the administration and continuous improvement of the company’s benefits programs. You will analyze data, manage vendor relationships, and design cost-effective offerings to ensure a strong employee experience.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help design and implement new benefits, support compliance, and deliver clear communication materials. This role requires analytical thinking and a focus on optimizing total rewards.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operations of assigned benefit programs and acts as primary liaison with external vendors and consultants.
  • Analyzes utilization data, benchmarking reports, and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Recommends enhancements to benefit programs based on data and employee feedback.
  • Participates in design and implementation of new benefit offerings with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures compliance activities, notices, filings, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Trains HR staff and business partners on benefit processes and policy updates.
  • Develops and delivers benefits communications to improve employee understanding and engagement.
  • Contributes to total rewards and wellness projects across the company.
