This position ensures accurate and timely processing of benefit transactions, provides responsive employee support, maintains reliable records and reporting, and assists with compliance, audits, annual testing, and other benefit-related controls. The role combines hands-on benefits administration with high-level analytical, process-improvement, and project support. The position works collaboratively with other members of the Human Capital team, Payroll, Finance, and other internal stakeholders and supports FSA's brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators as needed.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Benefits Administration. Administer FSA's benefit, retirement, leave, wellness, and fringe benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and 401(k) plans. Process enrollments, qualifying life events, changes, terminations, life insurance death claims, 401(k) death notifications, and other benefit transactions accurately and timely.
  • Employee Support and Communications. Respond to employee benefit questions, resolve routine issues, and elevate complex or sensitive matters to HCM leadership. Support new-hire orientation, employee education, open enrollment, and benefits communications, including guides, FAQs, presentations, and FSAConnect content.
  • Leave-Related Benefits. Administer leave-related benefit processes, including recurring reports, tracking employee benefit premium payments during leave, and accurate administration of sick, vacation, PTO, and applicable locality-specific holiday benefits.
  • Workers' Compensation. Support workers' compensation administration, including timely claim filing, follow-up, recordkeeping, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Payroll Coordination and Reconciliations. Coordinate benefit-related payroll activities, including deductions, retirement deferrals and loan repayments, vacation payouts, and leave-related payments. Reconcile deductions, contributions, invoices, and funding against employee elections and carrier or administrator records; resolve discrepancies with Payroll and Finance to support accurate tax treatment and timely funding.
  • SCLS/SCA Health & Welfare. Support Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS/SCA) Health & Welfare compliance activities and related data requests in coordination with internal stakeholders and the third-party administrator.
  • Systems and Data Exchange. Maintain benefits-related data and workflows in ADP and other applicable systems. Validate benefit data exchanged through automated ADP file feeds with carriers, vendors, and third-party administrators.
  • Reporting and Records. Prepare and validate benefit reports, census data, and eligibility and demographic files. Perform periodic reviews of transactions, system records, deductions, eligibility, and administrative processes; maintain accurate, audit-ready records and safeguard confidential employee and plan information.
  • Compliance, Testing, and Audits. Support compliance with applicable benefit laws, plan provisions, company policies, and deadlines, including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and Section 125. Assist with benefit and retirement plan testing, nondiscrimination testing, notices, filings, audits, and supporting documentation. Coordinate matters requiring legal consultation through HCM leadership.
  • Vendor and Carrier Coordination. Provide administrative and analytical support to brokers, carriers, vendors, and third-party administrators, including information gathering, issue tracking, and follow-up. Primary external relationship management and escalations remain with the designated HCM leader.
  • Procedures and Process Improvement. Develop and maintain procedures, job aids, checklists, and administrative controls. Research recurring issues, inefficiencies, and potential compliance risks, and recommend process, system, or automation improvements to HCM leadership.
  • Implementation and Project Support. Assist with approved benefit plan changes, system updates, wellness initiatives, and other benefits projects. Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
