Job summary

Ringside Talent Acquisition Partners is seeking a Benefits Administrator to own day-to-day benefits program administration in a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will manage enrollments, life events, open enrollment, and data accuracy while serving as the primary benefits contact for employees.

The role requires at least 2 years of benefits administration experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of benefits administration experience.
  • Familiarity with ACA, COBRA, and ERISA regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS/benefits administration systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and service orientation.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Process new hire enrollments, life events changes, and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and troubleshooting.
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and resolve discrepancies with carriers.
  • Maintain accurate benefits data within HRIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA regulations.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment communications and system updates.
  • Coordinate with HR and Payroll for accurate deductions and eligibility.

Responsibilities
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
  • Process new hire enrollments, life event changes, and annual open enrollment
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions, troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and resolve discrepancies with carriers
  • Maintain accurate benefits data within HRIS systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, ERISA)
  • Assist with the coordination of annual open enrollment, including communications and system updates
  • Partner with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate deduction and eligibility processing
  • Support audits and reporting related to benefits programs
