Job summary

RiseMe in Ankeny, IA seeks an Employee Benefits Representative to be the primary contact for benefits eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and claims. You will support compliance, billing, data accuracy, and vendor file management, and assist with annual open enrollment and life-event processing.

The role requires 2-4 years in benefits administration, strong analytical and communication skills, and HRIS/payroll experience. A related degree is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-4 years of experience in employee benefits administration, HR, or related field; direct experience preferred.
• Experience with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, HSA/FSA, and other benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for benefits eligibility, enrollment, coverage, claims, and plan provisions
• Administer day-to-day benefit transactions: new hires, life events, changes, terminations, dependents
• Research and resolve benefits questions using hotline, HR systems, and vendors
• Maintain accurate benefits, payroll, and employee data across HRIS and vendor systems
• Support benefits billing, invoice reconciliation, payroll deductions, and retirement transactions
• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, TPA, and vendors for reporting and issue resolution
• Support benefits compliance, audits, reporting, and documentation
• Lead or assist with new hire benefits education and annual open enrollment
• Identify improvements to benefits processes and employee experience
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Support annual open enrollment communications and testing
