Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a dedicated benefits professional to manage a portfolio of small employee benefits accounts. You will serve as the day-to-day client contact and act as the liaison between clients and insurance carriers, ensuring accurate and timely service.

You will provide technical benefits guidance on ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, and Health Care Reform, assist with renewals and new product placements, and coordinate communications across channels.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits or related marketplace.
• Must hold life and disability insurance license.
• College degree preferred; customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a high-volume book of small employee benefits accounts independently.
• Act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.
• Educate clients on compliance topics including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA and 5500s.
• Respond to information requests and inquiries about employee benefits.
• Oversee renewal processes and communicate changes to insurers and clients.
• Coordinate marketing and placement of new benefit offerings and compare carrier quotes.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Develop client communications for renewals and enrollment procedures.
• Introduce clients to USI Benefit Resource Center for issue resolution.
