Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a benefits administrator to manage a book of small employee benefits accounts. You will serve as the daily client contact, provide technical benefits guidance, and support compliant enrollment and renewal processes.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in benefits, a life and disability license, and comfort with MS Office and online rating systems. The role requires strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in employee benefits or related marketplace.
• Must hold life and disability insurance license.
• Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Service a high volume of accounts independently; act as primary contact between clients and carriers.
• Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned clients and educate on compliance topics (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s).
• Manage renewal process and communicate final placement details to insurers and clients.
• Coordinate and manage client communications via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Develop employee communications for renewal changes, enrollment procedures, benefit changes.
