Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Account Analyst on the Employee Benefits team to support client service, process billing inquiries, and manage data in the agency system.

This hybrid role offers growth, training, and opportunities to work with diverse clients; familiarity with Benefit Point Management System and EPIC, or willingness to learn, is a plus. Strong organization and responsiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–15 insurance license within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Working knowledge of Benefit Point Management System and/or EPIC, or willingness to learn.
• Respond quickly to client requests and provide information
• Well organized with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Team-oriented and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Support the Account Management Team with client service needs such as billing inquiries, researching claim/enrollment issues and tracking and documenting service issues through the agency management system
• Input and summarize benchmarking data in MMA formatted presentation
• Monitor eligibility updates in Employee Navigator; update carrier systems and data in agency management system
• Prepare and peer review Benefit Guides for clients with smaller employee enrollments or revenue
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal contact
• Learn and use new tools/technology as they become available
• Participate in seminars, trainings and webinars to enhance industry knowledge and education
• Other duties assigned by management
