Benefitfocus is seeking an **HCM Consultant** to join our Customer Success Organization. The HCM Consultant is responsible for gathering data integration requirements and delivering solutions that meet client data integration needs. This role partners with new public sector customers during implementation projects and supports existing customers through business events requiring changes to data exchange processes. A critical component of successful platform implementations is ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely data integrations. The HCM Consultant works closely with customers, including Human Resources and Benefits leaders and representatives, to understand business and technical requirements. The consultant partners with Engineering teams to translate requirements into effective integration solutions and coordinates testing efforts across clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and transition to production support teams. ***This role is remote; however, candidates must be located within commutable proximity to one of our offices to support periodic onsite collaboration.*** **The Contributions You’ll Make:*** Partner with customer payroll vendors to determine outbound deduction file integration requirements.* Partner with customer HCM system providers to determine inbound demographic file integration requirements.* Extract files and ensure successful, accurate, and timely delivery to vendors.* Facilitate discovery sessions, standard integration and functionality overviews, customer trainings, and implementation project meetings.* Gather and analyze customer integration requirements and recommend the most appropriate integration solutions.* Translate business requirements into clear, accurate, and concise technical requirements documentation.* Refine requirements documentation based on customer feedback and internal engineering reviews.* Develop testing plans for data integrations and oversee component testing and user acceptance testing activities.* Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve issues identified during testing efforts.* Ensure a seamless transition from existing customer data transmission processes to the Benefitfocus Platform.* Obtain customer and engineering sign-off and coordinate successful transition of integrations to ongoing production support teams.* Partner with project managers to align integration delivery with overall implementation timelines and milestones.* Adapt to a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple competing priorities.* Successfully manage a workload of 5-10 concurrent implementation and integration projects.* Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to support successful customer outcomes.* Perform other duties as assigned. **Minimum Knowledge & Experience:*** Bachelor's degree required.* 3+ years of experience in a SaaS implementation environment.* Experience with systems integration and field-level interface design.* Experience with file transmission to third-party vendors.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Background in business application consulting with client-facing experience.* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong customer focus and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. **Preferred Knowledge & Experience:*** Knowledge of payroll systems.* Knowledge of employee benefit plans and benefit structures.* Experience working with HR, HCM, payroll, or benefits administration platforms.* Experience supporting customer implementations within a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. **How This Role Aligns to Our Core Four:**At Voya, our Core Four represent the foundational expectations we bring to every role.
