Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a Substitute Preschool Teacher to support early childhood education. You will promote growth in social-emotional, physical, cognitive and language development, while engaging families in their child’s learning.

This benefitted, part-time role offers 20 to 29 hours per week with opportunities for professional development and growth. Candidates should have the required education and experience in early childhood programs

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required with early childhood coursework or degree progress.
• Experience or training in early childhood education and family engagement.
• Ability to coordinate with families and staff in a supportive manner.

Responsabilidades

• Create safe, engaging classroom environments with active supervision of children.
• Record attendance and monitor attendance trends with site team.
• Deliver curriculum to develop cognitive, physical, social-emotional and language skills.
• Conduct developmental screenings and refer concerns with parental input.

Associate Teacher: Pre-School Certificate or CDA

Teacher I: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related with 18 credit hours
