Medix is seeking a Benefit Verification Specialist for a short-term project in the The Colony area. You will manage high-volume outreach to patients, payers, and pharmacies to verify insurance coverage and document results accurately.

The role requires 2+ years in benefit verification, a high school diploma or GED, and living within 50 miles of Bedford/Dallas. You will work a full eight-hour shift weekday schedule with weekly bonuses and onboarding orientation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Benefit Verification or Benefit Investigation experience.
• Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Bedford/Dallas, TX.
• Ability to pick up and drop off client-provided equipment in Bedford/Dallas area.
• Schedule: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM CST, Monday–Friday.
• Attendance is vital due to a fast-paced, short-term project.

Responsibilities

• High-Volume Outreach: conduct inbound/outbound calls to verify insurance details.
• Accurate Documentation: log outcomes, claims details, deductibles, and EOBs.
• Patient Support: troubleshoot coverage inquiries professionally.
• Compliance: maintain HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.
• Team Collaboration: participate in team meetings, huddles, and trainings.

Pay&Incentives
