Job summary

The Hilb Group is seeking a Benefit Billing and Reconciliation Specialist to be based in Mansfield, MA with a hybrid work arrangement. You will process billing, respond to inquiries, maintain records, and coordinate with clients and carriers to resolve balances and payment issues.

The ideal candidate has billing or accounting experience, strong mathematical and analytical abilities, proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with AMS.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and experience with billing systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are critical.

Responsibilities

• Billing Processing: Prepare and issue accurate, itemized statements, invoices, and fee requests, including those for premium financing.
• Inquiry Resolution: Act as a point of contact for Accounts Receivables, Payables, Account Reps and Producer inquiries regarding billing discrepancies, premium payments, and invoice details.
• System Maintenance: Update agency management systems to maintain accurate client billing records and documentation.
• Client Communication: Liaise with in-house account contact and insurance carriers to resolve outstanding balances or payment issues.
