Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Independently manages the Beneficiary Travel Program.
• Works with hospital staff and clinical personnel as part of a team.
• Interacts with patients appropriately considering cognitive, emotional, and age needs.
• Coordinates with external parties for services, information sharing, and payment decisions.
• Forward invoices to Fiscal Service for processing and prepare letters on unauthorized travel claims.
• Explain regulatory guidelines to beneficiaries regarding unauthorized ambulance claims.
• Determine payment methods for authorized and unauthorized ambulance claims.
• Receive invoices for transportation services and reconcile vouchers for accuracy.
• Act as a liaison for patient funds and coordinate transport logistics to be cost-effective.
