The Service Technician at BENCO Equipment is responsible for the installation, diagnosis, and repair of shop equipment while delivering top-notch service to customers.

Job Duties

• Install, diagnose, and repair shop equipment such as 2 and 4 post hoists, tire changers, wheel balancers, industrial air compressors, pressure washers, waste oil heaters, air line systems, lube systems, exhaust systems, and other shop equipment.
• Follow logical troubleshooting steps to identify equipment problems.
• Run equipment tests and make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare equipment for delivery by inspecting and operating machines prior to delivery.
• Stay updated with ongoing education on new technologies.
• Report service work performed accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree or Technical certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems; basic computer skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and components in the field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
