Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI), is seeking a Bench Technician.

The Bench Technician - Paint Prep position primarily involves sanding and bodywork repair of antennas. Both 1st and 2nd shift positions are available.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete taping and sanding of antenna exterior.
2. Perform bodywork and repairs on antennas.
3. Follow approved documentation such as repair orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions (WI).
4. Use shop tools and equipment.
5. Ensure traceability of components used in assembly on manufacturing orders.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

• Preferred: Experience with shop tools in a production environment.
• Preferred: Experience with bodywork, painting, or sanding tasks.

Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. May occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise level typical of a manufacturing setting.
