Burton Mill Solutions is hiring for a full-time position in the United States. The role involves learning to work safely in a saw production environment, setting up and operating various machine tools, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years manufacturing production experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone or up to 100 pounds with lift assistance.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Vocational trade school or equivalent program a plus.
• Demonstrated lean techniques and ability to meet TAKT times.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with behavior that upholds company values and standards.
• Promote safety in the workplace and adhere to the safety standards of the company.

Responsibilities

• Learn to work safely in the saw production environment.
• Set up and operate all available machine tools and related equipment.
• Read industrial knife blueprints and use calipers/micrometers.
• Perform quality checks and SPCs for all assignments.
• Input data into ERP system and programs into CNC machines.
• Cross-train to other positions as requested.
• Participate in Lean and Safety Training.
• Load and unload steel from machines and maintain area.
• Provide support and training to others as needed.
