Latitude AI, headquartered in Pittsburgh, seeks a Service Technician Associate to support electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance and new builds. Ideal candidates have hands-on vehicle experience, basic diagnostics skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Basic wiring knowledge and Google Suite familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in home state and clean driving record per MVR checks.
• Able to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses.
• Entry level knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Willing to travel up to 15% for training/support.

This contract will be 1 year (12 months) in duration.

Meet the team:

The Service Technician Associate will work as part of the Service Operations team providing electric and hybrid vehicle mechanical maintenance and support. This entry-level to intermediate role will also perform independent project tasks primarily focusing on new vehicle builds.

What you'll do:

• Up-fit Latitude technology into new and existing fleet vehicles
• Professional level automotive repairs
• Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly
• Develop diagnostic skills in the autonomous vehicle field

• Follow provided work instructions completely and accurately
• Work in small teams as needed to complete any engineering requirements
• Track inventory of the location's parts and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

What you'll need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two (2) years of employment experience
• Experience working on vehicles professionally
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence and ability to meet Latitude AI's minimum driving record requirements, as verified by Motor Vehicle Record background checks prior to hire and periodically thereafter
• Able to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses
• Entry level knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Google Suite programs including Documents, Sheets and Gmail
• Expect to potentially travel up to 15% of the time for training and/or support of other office locations

Nice to have:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or similar
• Vehicle conversion experience - Firetrucks, ambulances, etc
• Experience with the function, installation, repair, and replacement of autonomous vehicles or active safety equipment
• Experience with flashing and re-flashing automotive control modules and CAN (Controller Area Network) bus operation
• Familiar with vehicle integration software and data collection
