Job summary

Shane Co. is seeking a bench jeweler to join our Scottsdale stores. You will perform setting, sizing, re-tipping, welding, soldering, polishing, engraving, and cleaning to Shane Co. standards of quality and timeliness.

We value teamwork, customer service, and craftsmanship; evening and weekend availability is required. Base pay ranges from $22 to $45 per hour, with weekly team bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bench experience preferred.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• High level of visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Ability to give and receive feedback and adapt with coaching.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate in English and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality of merchandise and provide accurate assessments.
• Keep shop and personal workspace clean and efficient.
• Provide cost estimates for customization options.
• Maintain findings inventory.
• Consult with staff and customers to meet needs during sales or repair.
• Follow safety protocols for shop equipment and chemicals.
• Seek personal and shop improvement and development.
• Use computers and iPads for shop job tracking.
• Collaborate with store staff and home office during overflow or special projects.
• Contribute to a positive workplace by living Shane Co. values.
