Shane Co. seeks an experienced bench jeweler to perform setting, sizing, re-tipping, welding, soldering, polishing, engraving, cleaning, and related tasks to meet Shane Co. standards of quality, service, and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years bench experience and can work in a fast-paced environment, providing accurate estimates and collaborating with staff and customers. Evening/weekend availability is required, with on-site work in Minnesota locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bench experience preferred.
• Evening and weekend availability required (store hours).
• High visual acuity and fine motor skills needed.
• Ability to give and receive feedback with coaching.
• Comfortable with technology and shop equipment.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Basic written/spoken English and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and condition assessments of merchandise for decisions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces.
• Provide cost estimates for personalization options.
• Manage findings inventory and shop materials.
• Consult with staff and customers to meet needs during sales/repair.
• Maintain safety protocols for shop equipment and chemicals.
• Pursue personal and shop improvement; use tech for job tracking.
