Braswell & Son, a family-owned luxury pawnbroker based in Little Rock, is seeking a bench jeweler to support eight stores across Arkansas and Tennessee. You will repair, size, and refurbish jewelry at the Markham store, with focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction in every piece that goes into the display case.

The role emphasizes precision, timely work, and thorough logging of items. A strong eye for detail and honesty are essential to handling high-value items daily.

Braswell & Son | Little Rock, AR (Markham store) | Full-time | On-site

Pay: $22 to $28 per hour, based on experience. Up to $30 per hour with a GIA Graduate Gemologist credential or equivalent.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch. No nights. Rarely any weekends. Closed on holidays.

The Role

You will be the bench jeweler for all eight of our stores. Repairs, sizing, and pieces to refurbish come to you at our Markham store in Little Rock.

Your work decides how our jewelry looks in the case. It also decides how a customer feels when they pick up a repair. We want someone who takes pride in both.

What You Will Do

Physical Requirements

• Sit at a jeweler's bench for long periods and do detailed hand work.
• Use torches, polishing equipment, and cleaning chemicals with the right safety gear.
• Lift and move items up to 25 pounds.

The Fine Print

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours over 40 in a work week are paid at 1.5 times your regular rate.
