Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Bench Jeweler role based in Cincinnati, OH. The Bench Jeweler will perform hands-on jewelry work including setting stones, sizing rings, repairing and restoring fine and fashion jewelry, soldering, and polishing pieces to company standards. The role involves inspecting items for quality, diagnosing repair needs, and ensuring accurate, timely completion of customer orders. The Bench Jeweler will collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support special orders, custom designs, and post-sale services, contributing to an exceptional client experience. The position also includes maintaining a clean, organized bench, caring for tools and equipment, and following safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Jewelry Design skills, including custom work, modifications, and an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Polishing, stone setting, soldering, and general bench repair techniques for fine and fashion jewelry.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to collaborate with showroom teams and support client needs professionally.
• Candidates should possess experience with Fashion Jewelry and fine jewelry handling, including inspection, cleaning, and care standards.
• Candidates should possess the ability to provide Training or mentoring to teammates on bench techniques, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior bench jeweler experience in a retail or luxury environment, familiarity with GIA standards, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail, with the ability to work on-site full time in Cincinnati, OH.
