Job summary

Chartwells K12 in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Bench Director of Dining Services to lead our dining team across K12 sites. This role trains under current leadership and advances into directing food service operations for multiple school locations.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, operational excellence, and delivering outstanding service with strong P&L oversight and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology/Management/Hospitality (or equivalent).
• Five+ years of foodservice management experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and catering trends.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of leads and frontline associates.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
• Own the annual budget and control costs effectively.
