Job summary

Steve Madden seeks an Associate Account Executive to join the Wholesale Accessories team, supporting the Belts business across all labels and wholesale partners. Based in NYC, this on-site role reports to the Business Manager and helps drive sales, sustain strong customer relationships, and ensure smooth order-to-delivery processes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with collaboration across internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Associate Director of Sales for assigned accounts.
• Complete asset, copy and image templates for accounts.
• Coordinate and attend quarterly photoshoots for E-Commerce needs.
• Assist with customer needs such as EDI management, shipping and extensions.
• Partner with internal teams including Production, Operations and Design.
• Track and update inventory and ATS statuses.
• Learn full product line and understand fabrics and silhouettes.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of customer order details.
• Attend Market Week and showroom appointments; support needs.
• Coordinate samples and manage the sample closet.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with resources as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
