Job summary

Mayfran International in Mayfield, Ohio is seeking a Belt Welder to join our manufacturing team. The role involves performing flat, vertical and horizontal welds on chain guard, plate and structural steel parts using TIG, MIG and stick processes, with emphasis on precision and safety. The shift is 1st: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Starting pay is $23.41 per hour with a 90-day performance increase to $24.24 per hour. Benefits include day-one medical, two weeks vacation, on-site clinic and fitness center,

Qualifications

• Weld flat, vertical and horizontal welds on chain guard, plate and structural steel.
• Read bills of material, blueprints, sketches; interpret welding symbols.
• Operate electric arc, TIG, MIG and rod welding machines.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Interpret basic welding symbols and fit parts for welding.
• Position conveyer parts on tables, fixtures or welding machines.
• Perform welding on plate and structural steel components.
• Ensure quality and safety during welding operations.
