Job summary
IBT Industrial Solutions in Wichita, KS is seeking a Belt Shop Technician to support the Grain Division by processing and fulfilling Production Shop Orders from the IRS Grain Division. This is a full-time, day-shift role with a typical schedule 8:00 a.m.
– 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and occasional extended hours based on business needs. You will operate belt processing equipment, learn warehouse duties, inspect inbound shipments, and help maintain quality and organization.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds
- Ability to read and write English; read drawings and perform basic math
- Ability to read measuring tools (calipers, tape measures)
- Basic computer skills
- Team-oriented and reliable
Responsibilities
- Process and fulfill Production Shop Orders for the Grain Division.
- Safely operate belt processing equipment and associated hand tools.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes).
- Receive, inspect, palletize and ship inbound/outbound shipments.
- Apply quality control methods to ensure product quality.
- Maintain inventory organization and housekeeping.
