Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking a production specialist to fabricate belting, cut and slit belts, and prepare belts for installation. You will read work orders and drawings, measure with tape and perform basic math, while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

You will also support on-site belt installation, operate equipment like forklifts and table saws, and assist with loading shipments and cycle counts. A forklift license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and prints.
• Industrial math and measuring to read a tape measure.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and power/tools safely.
• Must attain OSHA-certified forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Perform production work by reading and interpreting work orders and drawings while following safety guidelines.
• Fabricate belts: cut, slit, glue, fit ends, and layout for v-guides, cleats and sidewalls.
• Install rubber belting at customer sites and coordinate with installation lead to meet schedule.
• Operate equipment (HR Welder, forklift, soldering guns, table saw, lathe) safely.
• Load/unload shipments, cycle count inventory, attend safety meetings, and keep area organized.
