Watermark Baton Rouge is seeking a part-time Bell Person to assist guests with luggage, guide them to rooms, and provide transportation to local venues and the airport. The role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with experience in hospitality preferred.

You’ll report to the Front Office Manager and represent the hotel with a warm, professional demeanor. Candidates should be available for a part-time schedule and demonstrate excellent guest service skills.

Salary: $13.00 Annually

Watermark Baton Rouge, located beautiful downtown, is looking for a part-time Bell Person with open availability, who would report to the Front Office Manager. The Bell Person is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient luggage assistance to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout. For this position, a high school diploma and VALID driver’s license is required and experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.

Some of the essential functions of the position include:

• Escorting hotel guests to rooms and assisting with luggage to and from guestrooms.
• Transporting hotel guests to the Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport and other venues in the immediate area.
• Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
• Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.
• Answer guest inquires about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner. Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
