Job summary

San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center in Galveston, TX is seeking a Valet Attendant to provide courteous valet services and create a positive first impression for guests. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist with opening doors and belongings, manage traffic at the valet stand, and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The posted base pay is $4.50 per hour plus tips. Experience in customer service is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a valet attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Responsibilities

• Safely park and retrieve guests' vehicles

• Open doors, retrieve belongings, assist guests

Valet Attendant

As a Valet Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our guests by providing efficient and courteous valet services.

Responsibilities

• Safely and responsibly park and retrieve guests' vehicles in designated areas
• Maintain a high level of care and attention while operating guests' vehicles
• Assist guests with opening doors, retrieving belongings, and ensuring a smooth transition to and from their vehicles
• Manage traffic flow at the valet stand to ensure a safe and organized environment
• Coordinate with other valet attendants to optimize parking space usage
• Effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and casino staff
• Conduct basic visual inspections of guests' vehicles for damage or other issues; Report any damages or issues promptly and accurately

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a valet attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
