Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient valet parking services
• Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure
• Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
• Report issues and/or potential problems to security or supervisor to avoid congestion
• Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid congestion
• Answer guest questions about restaurants, events and activities
• Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority or refer to supervisor on duty
• Report all alleged thefts or missing items to supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation

As a Valet Attendant , you will provide courteous, efficient valet parking services while creating a positive first and last impression for guests through attentive customer service.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• - Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services
• - Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure
• - Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
• - Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance
• - Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
• - Answer guest questions about restaurants, events and activities
• - Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty
• - Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation

Requirements

• Performs other job-related duties as requested
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Preferred

Work Experience

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience working in a service-related positions Preferred

Additional Requirements

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
• Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
