Historic Hotel Bethlehem is seeking a Bellman to be the first and last impression for guests, assisting with luggage, deliveries, and sharing local information. You will also provide shuttle service and help secure parking to begin a memorable stay.

We seek team players with strong customer service, clear communication, and dependability. The role is full-time, on-site with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pennsylvania driver’s license is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with luggage and amenity deliveries.
• Provide shuttle service for guests and assist with parking as needed.
• Deliver packages and share hotel and historic district information with guests.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bellman at Historic Hotel Bethlehem:

Our bellman are the first impression that our guests receive when they arrive at the hotel and the last impression as they depart You will have the opportunity to greet the guests, assist with luggage, amenity deliveries, package deliveries and share the hotel and historic district information. Our bellman also provide shuttle service for our guests, Ensuring a proper welcome and securing proper parking is key to the beginning of a successful stay.

COMPENSATION

$16-$20 per hour

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have the physical capability to lift, push or pull at least 30-50 pounds. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, and to reach and stretch, bend, kneel and squat.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania drivers license is helpful
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in English.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
