As an SMB Flex Territory Sales Account Executive, you will be part of a team transforming how restaurants operate. Using a consultative approach, you will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs in your local area. By understanding their needs, you will develop customized solutions to help their business thrive. We need your passion and expertise to help us build the Toast brand in your geographic territory.

This is a field sales role based out of a personal home office. You must live near Seattle, WA, or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing (experience with prospecting is ideal).
  2. Conduct demos and develop solutions tailored to prospect needs.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure expectations set during sales are met during delivery.
  4. Use Salesforce CRM to manage all sales activities.
  5. Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, restaurant operations, or a related field.
  • Reliable transportation (will reimburse mileage) as this is a field role.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills; ability to sell and negotiate at all decision levels.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team environment.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
  • Technical proficiency with software tools.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Sandler Sales Training.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive pay and benefits to attract and retain top talent. Our total rewards include salary, commissions, benefits, and equity (if eligible). The estimated total targeted cash compensation ranges from $129,000 to $206,000 USD, with uncapped commissions. Starting salary depends on skills, experience, and location.
