We’re hiring a Bell Person/Lobby Attendantto Live. Work. Explore. this summer!

Job Summary:
Greeting guests, assisting with luggage transport, and providing information about the hotel and surrounding areas. This role also includes maintaining cleanliness in public spaces, managing fireplace operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests while adhering to company policies and safety practices.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: May through early-October 2025
Pay: $14.60 hourly + tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Location: Lake McDonald Lodge

Responsibilities

  • Greet all arriving/departing guests.
  • Transport luggage to and from guest rooms.
  • Assist the Guest Services team as directed.
  • Answer guests inquiries about the hotel, park, and surrounding areas.
  • Clean public areas in lobby, restrooms, and meeting/convention rooms:
    • Trash removal, vacuum, dust, move lobby furniture, etc.
  • Build and start fire in fireplaces.
  • Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Must be able to work as a team or alone.
  • Directly related experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns in a tactful and caring manner.

Physical Requirements include:

  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling luggage up to 100 pounds.
  • Frequent carrying luggage up and down narrow flights of stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Working in various weather conditions.
  • Working safely with required chemicals.
