Job summary

Snowmass Club in Snowmass Village, CO is seeking a Bell Attendant to deliver friendly, attentive guest service, assist with luggage, and escort members and guests around the property. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

You will support Front Desk, handle luggage, transport guests to the airport, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and assist with luggage.
• Escort members and guests throughout the property as needed.
• Carry and transport members’ and guests’ personal belongings.
• Provide limited concierge services, including area information and restaurant recommendations.
• Assist the Front Desk with phones and guests as needed.
• Transfer calls and communicate important information to the Front Desk.
• Provide guest transportation to/from Aspen Airport following laws and regulations.
• Load/unload luggage and keep shuttle and baggage areas organized.
• Complete daily checklists and conduct property walk-throughs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and communicate operational issues timely.
• Follow safety procedures and remain aware of hazards.
• Support Bell team and other departments as needed.

What You’ll Do

Guest Service & Hospitality

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and offer assistance with luggage
• Escort members and guests throughout the property as needed
• Carry and transport members’ and guests’ personal belongings
• Provide limited concierge services, including answering questions about the area and providing restaurant recommendations
• Assist the Front Desk with phones and guests as needed
• Transfer phone calls and communicate important information to the Front Desk

Transportation & Bell Services

• Provide guest transportation to and from Aspen Airport while following all applicable laws and regulations
• Lift and transport luggage, packages, and boxes from cars, buses, vans, and carts
• Place luggage and packages on the ground, baggage carts, or other vehicles as needed
• Transport guest luggage to and from the shuttle, lobby, and rooms
• Keep the hotel shuttle clean and well maintained, including washing, vacuuming, and removing trash
• Keep your radio/bell phone on at all times and respond promptly to all calls

Property & Daily Operations

• Complete daily checklists provided by the Bell Supervisor
• Perform consistent walk-throughs of all properties
• Pick up trash and debris and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Clean and arrange furniture and empty trash cans as needed
• Accurately communicate operational issues and important information to other shifts
• Promote a positive work culture and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Safety

• Keep walkways clear of ice, snow, leaves, trash, and other hazards
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and regulations
• Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations
• Maintain awareness of potential safety concerns throughout the property

Team Contribution

• Support the Bell team and other departments as needed
• Assist the Front Desk and other team members when requested
• Promote a positive and professional work environment
• Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Bell Supervisor

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
• Ability to coordinate the movement of arms, legs, and torso when the whole body is in motion
• Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support the body repeatedly or continuously without undue fatigue
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach with the body, arms, and/or legs
• Ability to exert oneself physically for extended periods without becoming winded or out of breath
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions, including snow, ice, cold, heat, and rain
• Ability to remain active and attentive in a fast-paced guest-service environment
