Job summary

The Thompson Savannah is seeking a Bell Attendant who embodies the luxury lifestyle and delivers exceptional guest service. You will coordinate with Front Office and Valet to escort guests, transport luggage, and provide hotel orientation to arriving guests.

Greet guests in the lobby, assist with directions and inquiries, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups while ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.

Responsibilities

• The Bell Attendant transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage.
• The Bell Attendant also provides arriving guests with a hotel orientation.
• Greets all guests passing through lobby and offers them assistance
• Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-up
• Assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
• May perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property
• All other duties as assigned by leadership
