Job summary

Beli is a social app for restaurant lists, maps and personalized recommendations. The role is a senior full-stack SWE responsible for end-to-end features, with Python/Django backend and Angular/Ionic frontend, guiding growth and partnerships from NYC.

You will mentor engineers, ship high-impact consumer features, and collaborate with leadership on growth strategies, in a hybrid Flatiron/Manhattan setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs full-stack SWE shipping high-impact consumer features at startups/high-growth cos
• Full ownership incl. product thinking
• Python/Django, Postgres, Angular/Ionic/TypeScript
• Bonus: mentoring, mobile/social consumer apps
• Hybrid 3 days NYC

• Own iOS/Android app features end to end: research, design, build, launch, measure
• Full-stack features in Python/Django, Postgres, Angular/Ionic shipped to millions of users
• Work with CTO/CEO on growth, engagement, retention; no PMs
• Lead search, recommendations, partnerships (Tinder, reservations/delivery), translation, computer vision, shareable content
• Mentor juniors as team scales ~3 to 7+ engineers; run A/B tests; talk to users

Comp: $200K-$260K + competitive equity. Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week Flatiron, Manhattan. Visa: O-1, TN and H1B transfers only.
