Job summary

DriveSafe Driving Schools in Boulder, CO seeks a Behind-the-Wheel Instructor to coach students on driving laws and safe driving skills in a company vehicle. You will deliver one-on-one lessons, ensure a smooth learning experience, and help students gain confidence behind the wheel.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, a valid CO license, a clean driving record, and a background check. Part-time and full-time shifts are available; no relocation required.

Qualifications

• 23 years of age or older
• Colorado Driver's License
• Safe driving history – a Motor Vehicle Record check will be reviewed
• Criminal background check required
• Demonstrated teaching or mentoring abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new digital tools
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Instruct students using the DriveSafe system in a company-provided vehicle
• Build student confidence and practical driving skills in varied conditions
• Accurately record student progress on DriveSafe materials and forms
• Provide feedback to student and family to enhance learning
• Clean and service the vehicle after each shift
• Submit scheduling availability and timekeeping information per policies
